Meera Darbar

Meera Darbar is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Sourcing Specialist for Professional Services in the UK and EMEA at AIG since November 2025, Meera previously held multiple roles at Allianz from May 2021 to November 2025, including Category Manager for HR and Senior Procurement Officer for Professional Services and HR. Earlier experience includes positions at Essex County Council as a Procurement Support Officer and Category and Contract Analyst, as well as administrative roles at Twinsmotoring and volunteering at Abbcross Nursing Home. Meera began her career with a work placement at Barclays. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Business Management from the University of Essex, alongside A Levels from Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls and GCSEs from The Holt School.
