Michael Olsan

Michael Olsan is currently the VP and Deputy General Counsel, Head of Reinsurance Legal at AIG, where they lead the Reinsurance Legal group, overseeing both contentious and non-contentious aspects of global reinsurance. With 32 years of experience in private practice, they previously chaired the Commercial Litigation Department and Reinsurance Group at White and Williams LLP, where they represented major property and casualty companies in complex coverage disputes. Olsan began their career as an associate at Connell Foley & Geiser, focusing on insurance coverage matters, after earning a BA from Franklin & Marshall College and a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law.
