Mike Beutel

Mike Beutel is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in claims management and innovation. Currently serving as Vice President and GenAI Product Owner at AIG since September 2025, Mike previously held significant roles at Sompo, where responsibilities included Claims Innovation & Transformation Specialist and Claims Specialist for E&S/Commercial from November 2017 to September 2025. Additionally, Mike worked at Assurant from July 2013 to November 2017 in various positions, including Global Claims QA/Compliance Manager and Senior Claims Adjuster. Prior roles at Safeco Insurance and Assurant contributed to a comprehensive understanding of claims operations. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University, completed between 1999 and 2004.
