Paul Murtagh

Paul Murtagh is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive experience spanning over four decades. Currently retired, Murtagh served as an executive at AIG since July 2016. Prior to this role, Murtagh was the Vice President and Regional Manager of the Casualty Division at Lexington Insurance Company from 2003 until July 2016, managing an $80 million portfolio of surplus lines business. Murtagh also held the position of Regional Sales and Underwriting Director at PMA Companies from February 1994 to June 2002, overseeing underwriting and financial performance across the mid-Atlantic region. Early career experience includes various leadership roles at Cigna from 1980 to 1993, culminating in the role of Vice President of Commercial Products. Murtagh earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Finance, from the University of Delaware.
