Phil Lawson

Phil Lawson is the Head of Audit for AIG UK and Talbot Underwriting Ltd, with over 20 years of experience in internal audit and counter fraud, including 11.5 years with the Big 4 focused on the public sector. They held significant roles at AIG, particularly as the SMF5 Head of Internal Audit for AIG Life Limited and later for AIG UK and Talbot. Prior to joining AIG, Phil advanced to Senior Manager at Deloitte, specializing in public sector audits and fraud investigations. They are a Chartered Internal Auditor (CMIIA), an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS), and have demonstrated leadership through various senior management roles.
