Sandeep Gopal

Sandeep Gopal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and executive leadership across the insurance and corporate sectors. Sandeep served as Chief Executive at Swiss Re International SE in Hong Kong and held various key positions including Director CRO for Asia Pacific at AmCham Sri Lanka and Head of Risk for Asia at RSA. Currently, Sandeep is the APAC CRO at AIG, overseeing insurance operations across numerous countries in the region. Previous roles include managing risk functions at Allied World and Barclays, and project management positions at Protiviti Ltd and Erix Advisors. Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dr. B.A Technological University and an MBA in Finance and Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
