Scott Thomas

Scott Thomas is a retired Managing Attorney at AIG, having served from October 1992 until his retirement on January 1, 2022. In this role, Scott managed the Staff Counsel office in both Chicago, IL, and Milwaukee, WI. Prior to his tenure at AIG, Scott worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Milwaukee, defending Federal Civil Rights cases and major civil liability cases from February 1984 to October 1992. Scott began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Wisconsin Court System and Wisconsin Supreme Court, serving under Hon. William R. from July 1982 to February 1984. Scott holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Marquette University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
