Sharon Romer

Sharon Romer is a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial sectors. Currently serving as the Talent Acquisition Director at AIG since December 2019, Sharon manages a team focused on General Insurance recruitment across the U.S., Canada, and Bermuda. Prior to this role, Sharon held various positions within AIG, including Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Acquisition Partner. Sharon's earlier experience includes managing talent acquisition at XL Catlin, working as a Front Office Recruiter at the Royal Bank of Scotland, and conducting recruitment for Bridgewater Associates. Sharon also has a diverse background in consulting and project leadership from roles at GfK Roper Reports, Yankelovich, Simons Market Research Bureau, Burke Marketing Research, and Rothstein-Tauber. Sharon holds a Bachelor's degree in Government from Western New England University.
