Simone Mealyea

Simone Mealyea is a Major Loss Adjuster at AIG, where they manage large and complex claims within the Property, Energy, and Construction portfolios. They commenced their insurance career in 1995 with HIH Casualty and General, and have held various roles in claims management across Liability, Property, Energy, and Marine sectors. Simone served as a Catastrophe Coordinator and received a Zurich Starz award for excellence following the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. They later took on the role of National Marine Claims Manager at Associated Marine, overseeing the centralization of the Marine claims function before accepting a position as a Global Claims Account Manager. Simone has been with AIG since 2016, focusing on claims management and stakeholder engagement.
