Tom McGrath

Tom McGrath is the Senior Vice President and Head of AIG Programs, responsible for the company’s US Programs business, which includes driving underwriting excellence and product innovation. Prior to joining AIG in 2020, Tom served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Old Republic Specialty Insurance Underwriters, where responsibilities encompassed underwriting and operations. Tom has also held senior leadership roles at ACE Insurance Group and Munich Re America, spending nearly 24 years at Munich Re in various underwriting and management positions. Tom began their insurance career in 1987 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University, along with an Associate in Reinsurance designation.
