Tom Renny

Tom Renny serves as the VP & Group Chief Underwriting Officer at AIA Company Limited since January 2009, overseeing the underwriting philosophy and processes across 13 countries to ensure profitability. In addition, Tom has held the position of VP and Regional Chief Underwriter for Asia at AIG Life since 2004, focusing on regional underwriting governance and developing a unified underwriting culture. Tom's career includes significant roles such as Regional Chief Underwriter and Vice President Operations at American International Group, National Risk Manager at Aviva, and Head of Insurance Operations at National Australia Financial Management. Tom completed education at Saint Paul's Catholic High School from 1975 to 1979.
