Yuri Markin

Yuri Markin, LL.M., CPCU, has extensive experience at AIG since May 2007, currently serving as Deputy Head of Casualty for the EMEA region and previously heading Casualty operations in the Middle East, Africa, and Iberia. Markin has held various leadership roles, including Casualty Technical Underwriting Manager and Liabilities Profit Center Manager for Russia, with key responsibilities in financial management and profitability of the Liabilities Group. This professional is well-educated, holding an Executive LL.M. in Law from Northwestern University, a Certificate of Business Administration from IE Business School, and a Master's degree in Civil Law Studies from Moscow State Linguistic University, along with the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation completed at the American Institutes For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
