James Wells

James Wells is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and research in the fields of nanotechnology and biomedical applications. Currently, as Head of Strategic Project Management at Aignostics since June 2022, James leads a team responsible for strategic initiatives, funding activities with a focus on R&D grant projects valued at EUR 9 million, and oversees intellectual property strategies. Prior to this, James served as Strategic Project Manager and Knowledge Manager at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), where contributions included the biomedical applications of magnetic particle imaging. James's earlier roles include Higher Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, focusing on spintronic sensors, and Doctoral Researcher at Royal Holloway, University of London, specializing in superconducting quantum nanodevices, culminating in a PhD in Physics. James holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Reading.
