Teofilo Correa

Teofilo Correa is a seasoned academic specializing in Hebrew Scriptures exegesis, having held various prominent positions in institutions of higher education. They served as a district pastor for the Peru Union Mission from 1994 to 2000 before becoming a professor and dean at Peruvian Union University and Bolivia Adventist University. From 2015 to 2021, Teofilo was an associate professor at AIIAS, where they also served as program director for the MA in Religion and as chair of the Biblical Studies Department. Teofilo earned a Ph.D. in Old Testament from River Plate Adventist University, following a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theological Studies.
