Wendy Sun

Wendy Sun has been working in the engineering field for over 20 years. Wendy began their career in 1998 as a Mechanical Engineer at Makino Asia Pte Ltd. In 2002, they moved to Andus R&D as a Product Development Engineer, where they were responsible for BIW sheet metal design using SolidWorks and CATIA V5, as well as surface modeling using CATIA V5 and Alias. In 2005, they joined BSST as a Product Design Engineer, where they worked on product development for thermal management products and power generators. In 2008, they joined Calnetix as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, where they were responsible for PM machine, magnetic bearing, and power electronics system structure design using SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation. Wendy also worked on product development from concept layout, material selection, structure analysis, modeling, and final drawing package. In 2015, they joined Vepco Technologies as a Mechanical Design Manager. Finally, in 2017, they joined Upwing Energy as a Mechanical Design Manager, a role they held until 2019 when they joined AIKAR as a Principal Engineer.

Wendy Sun completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, followed by a Master's degree in the same field from the same university.
