Joe Engelhard

Joe Engelhard currently serves as the Head of Private Credit and Asset Management Policy for the Americas at AIMA. With over 25 years of experience in financial regulation and capital markets, Joe has significantly influenced policy outcomes at federal, state, and international levels. Previously, Joe held vital roles at the US Treasury, the House Financial Services Committee, and MetLife, where they developed strategies to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Joe also contributes to the Center for Strategic and International Studies as an Adjunct Fellow, focusing on emerging financial trends in developing markets. Joe holds a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University and a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Louis University.
