Chris Powell

Chris Powell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chris started their career as a Technical Consultant at Komex International Ltd in 1998 and worked there until 2003. In 2005, they joined Global Wealth Builders Ltd as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst, where they stayed until 2007. From 2007 onwards, Chris worked at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) in various roles, including Portfolio Manager, Principal, Senior Associate, and Associate. Chris then became the Director of Infrastructure & Timber Investments and later assumed the position of Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure (Americas).

Chris Powell completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Environmental Science and Land Remediation at the University of Alberta from 1994 to 1999. Chris then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the same university, completing it from 2003 to 2005.
