Craig Tipping

Craig Tipping has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with their most recent role being Head of Structured Credit at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Jefferies for 13 years, where they served as the Managing Director - European Head of Securitised Markets Group. Before that, they held positions at Nomura as the Managing Director - Head of Secondary ABS Trading Desk, Lehman Brothers as Executive Director ABS Trading Desk, MBIA as a Senior Associate, and Deloitte South Africa as an Audit Manager/ Consultant.

Craig Tipping has a strong education background in finance, accounting, and auditing. Craig obtained a Business Finance Degree from the University of Cape Town in 1997, with a focus on finance, tax, accounting, and auditing. In 1998, they completed a Post Graduate Degree in Accounting, Audit, Tax, and Finance from the same university. Craig also holds a CFA Level I, II, and III certification, which they earned from CFA INSTA between 1999 and 2001. Additionally, they are a Qualified Chartered Accountant from the University of Cape Town. Prior to their higher education, Craig attended Wynberg Boy's High School.
