Jasmine Spence

Jasmine Spence is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate in Credit Research at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation since February 2022, with prior roles including Analyst in Economics and Investment Research and Data Quality Analyst. Jasmine is also the Founder and CEO of Oski Tahkoskewin, a non-profit organization focused on fundraising, educational program development, and partnerships with First Nations. Previous experience includes working as a Data Analyst in Econometrics and as a Finance Summer Student at RBC, where significant contributions involved financial model creation and process optimization. Jasmine has received multiple certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and training in combating money laundering. Educational credentials include a degree from Harvard University in Statistical and Computational Tools for Reproducible Data Science and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. Jasmine was recognized as the winner of the 2017 “Diversathon” for efforts in Indigenous talent retention.
