Jonathan Braams

Jonathan Braams, CFA CBV, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and renewable resources. Currently serving as Senior Principal and Portfolio Manager at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since October 2011, Jonathan's previous roles at AIMCo include Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst in Infrastructure and Renewable Resources. Prior to joining AIMCo, Jonathan held various positions at TD, including Assistant Investment Advisor and Financial Services Representative. In addition to professional roles, Jonathan was a Financial Sector Analyst and Manager, Portfolio Strategist for the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence (PRIME), overseeing a student-run investment portfolio. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Alberta and has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Business Valuator designations.
