Kirby Millar

Kirby Millar has a comprehensive work experience in various roles related to data management, analytics, and technology delivery. Currently, Kirby serves as the Managing Director - Application Delivery at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since 2023, and previously held the role of Acting Managing Director, Data Enablement and Governance from 2022 to 2024. Before joining AIMCo, Kirby worked at BCI from 2011 to 2020, holding positions such as Director, Business Advisory | Director, Data & Analytics and Director, Enterprise Data Management. Prior to that, Kirby worked at AIMCo from 2008 to 2011, serving as Manager, Investment Data Management & Operations. Kirby's work experience also includes a role as a Researcher at the Bank of Canada from 2006 to 2008, where they conducted statistical and quantitative analysis and research to support the Bank's financial stability targets.

Kirby Millar obtained an MBA degree from IE Business School in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they earned a BA degree in Economics and Computer Science from The University of Lethbridge from 2001 to 2005. It is unknown whether Kirby Millar has any additional degrees or certifications.
