Michael Larkin is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in energy transition and infrastructure investments. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Transition Advisor at Alberta Investment Management Corporation since March 2024, Larkin focuses on fund investments and co-investments in decarbonization initiatives. Prior to this role, Larkin held positions at PSP Investments from August 2011 to September 2023, including Senior Director of Complementary Portfolio, where responsibilities included fund investments in venture capital and climate/energy transition, and Director of Infrastructure Investments, focusing on direct investments in energy and digital infrastructure. Earlier career experiences include roles at TD Securities, Ross Smith Sousa, and Merrill Lynch, where Larkin contributed to acquisitions, divestitures, and investment banking activities.
