John Nicholson

John is responsible for overseeing the sourcing of debt and equity capital nationally and the Treasury department for Aimco. John joined the Aimco accounting team in 2004, transitioning to capital markets shortly after, and has since worked on capital transactions in excess of $20 billion. After the reverse spin transaction in December 2020, John successfully built out Aimco’s current Capital Markets and Treasury platforms. John holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Maine.
