Duncan Willcock has a diverse range of work experience in the field of computer science. Duncan started their career in 2012 at the University of Waikato, where they worked as a Sessional Assistant, teaching and assisting students in programming concepts using C# and SQL. Duncan also participated in research as a Research Scholar, focusing on website development using JavaScript and PHP.

In 2015, Duncan joined Datacom as a Consultant on a short-term contract, where they designed an optimization algorithm for transport networks. Duncan utilized their machine learning skills and experience to develop a prototype algorithm in Python.

Duncan then continued their journey with Datacom in 2016 as a Developer/Senior Developer, contributing to various projects until January 2023. During this time, they gained extensive programming experience and expertise.

In February 2023, Duncan joined Aimer Development as a Software Developer, further expanding their knowledge and skills in software development.

Duncan Willcock began their education in 2006 at St. John's College in Hamilton. The specific degree and field of study during this time are unknown. From 2011 to 2014, they attended The University of Waikato and earned a Bachelor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences degree with a major in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at The University of Waikato from 2015 to 2016, where they completed a Master of Science (Research) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Bioinformatics.
