Jeremy Bryant has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. 🐄 Jeremy is the Founder and CTO of AIMER Farming, a role they began in February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Aimer Data Consulting from February 2021 to September 2022.
In 2019, Jeremy joined AgResearch as a Senior Scientist, specializing in Data Science and Modelling. 🐄 Jeremy held this position until February 2021. Before that, they worked at DairyNZ starting from 2011. At DairyNZ, they initially served as the NZAEL Manager, leading strategic management of the Breeding Worth system and overseeing the national dairy industry database (DIGAD). Later, they took on the role of Pasture and Animal Improvement Specialist.
Prior to their time at DairyNZ, Jeremy worked at Farmax Ltd as a Farm Systems Specialist from 2008 to 2011. Here, they played a key role in developing dairy farming tools and managing projects for international markets. In the same period, they also had their own consulting firm, J Bryant Consulting, where they worked as a Farm Systems Specialist.
Jeremy's career in agriculture began in 2006 at AgResearch, where they worked as an Agro-ecosystems Modeller. Their responsibilities included analyzing farm systems, modeling nutrient cycling and grazing processes, and undertaking contract work for organizations such as Farmax and NZ Grazing Company.
Throughout their career, Jeremy Bryant has gained extensive experience in data science, modeling, farm systems analysis, and consulting.
Jeremy Bryant earned their PhD in Quantitative Genetics and Modelling from Massey University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.
