Anna Lau

Anna Lau is the current Director at AIM. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Laxcen Technology Limited from November 2017 to August 2022. From July 2014 to October 2017, they were the Technical Director at Invengo Technology Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for corporate research planning and development, corporate roadmap planning, new business development and cooperation, defines the technological strategy with research teams, assesses technical risk and mitigation plan, and scouts for and evaluates new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence. Lau has also served as a Research Fellow at City University of Hong Kong from May to October 2010, where they worked on RF& antenna design and RFID. Additionally, they were an Associate Editor at the IEEE Journal of RFID and the Chairman Of The Board at AIM Asia Incorp. Lau began their career as a Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research from November 2010 to June 2014.

Anna Lau received their Doctor of Philosophy in RF and Antenna from the City University of Hong Kong. Anna also holds a Master of Philosophy in Electronic Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong.
