Jan Novotný

Jan Novotný's work experience began as a freelance multimedia freelancer, where they helped local businesses with their websites, graphics, and desktop publishing. Jan also ventured into audiovisual production and made money shooting videos during their studies. In 2013, Jan joined DIS Media as a Full-stack Developer, working on various projects in different industries, such as microsites, e-shops, and B2B/B2C applications. Jan later became the Lead Developer at DIS Media.

In 2014, Jan joined ProMaminky.cz as their Lead Developer, specializing in full-stack web development using PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JS.

Jan then moved on to Intergram in 2017, where they took on the roles of Senior PHP & JS Developer and Tech Lead. This gave him the opportunity to work on large-scale projects and gain experience with technologies like asynchronous processing, containerization, CI/CD, TypeScript, and Elasticsearch.

Jan's next career move was to Werner Dweight Solutions in 2013, where they worked as a freelancer.

In 2019, Jan joined AIMS API as their CTO, initially taking on most of the operational development work himself before helping transform the project into a stand-alone company. Jan focused on strengthening the technological foundations, improving internal standards, and bringing product ideas into production.

Jan Novotný earned a Bachelor's Degree in Web/Multimedia Management and Webmaster from the Czech Technical University in Prague, from the years 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Gymnázium Kolín from 2006 to 2010, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.
