Peter Franek is an experienced machine learning researcher with a strong background in AI applications across various domains. Currently serving as an ML Researcher at AIMS API since February 2021, Peter focuses on enhancing music catalog searches through AI tools, including improvements in search algorithms and autotagging functionalities. Before this, Peter worked as a Machine Learning Developer at KENDAXA Group, where key projects included developing systems for automatic information extraction from emails and detecting handwritten signatures. Peter's earlier roles include positions as a Machine Learning Engineer at CEAi, Inc., a Postdoctoral researcher at Ist Austria, and a researcher at the Institute of Computer Science Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Peter holds a PhD in Mathematics from Charles University, earned between 1999 and 2006.
