Mitchell Walker

Dr. Mitchell Walker is the W. R. T. Oakes Professor and School Chair of the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Aerospace Engineering. They serve as the principal investigator and director of the Joint Advanced Propulsion Institute, overseeing research in electric propulsion and advanced space propulsion. Dr. Walker has contributed to the field through more than 150 technical publications and has consulted with industry and government on electric propulsion technologies. Their awards include the AFOSR Young Investigator Program Award and the AIAA Lawrence Sperry Award, and they are a Fellow of AIAA.
