Inald Lagendijk

Inald Lagendijk is a distinguished professor in Computing-based Society at Delft University of Technology, where a significant academic career has spanned several decades since 1985. Lagendijk specializes in Information and Communication Theory with a focus on Multimedia Signal Processing and has held various leadership roles, including scientific director of the Delft Research Center on ICT and head of both the Cybersecurity Section and the Department of Intelligent Systems. Additionally, involvement as a board member of the Netherlands Academy of Engineering and the Foundation AiNed reflects a commitment to advancing the field of information and communication technology in the Netherlands. Since 2015, Lagendijk has served as Captain of Science for the Topteam ICT within Topsector ICT.
