Yaniv Vainer

Yaniv Vainer has over 10 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence. Yaniv started their career in 2010 as a Business Intelligence Developer at StoreNext, where they were responsible for the maintenance and development of the client's entire BI solution. In 2012, they moved to Bank Otsar HaHayal as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they built complex reports in SSRS and BO, SQL and PL-SQL, and worked with TM-1 as a data cube analysis tool. In 2014, they became the BI Team Leader at Mimun Yashir, managing two developers and leading a conversion project of hundreds of Business Object reports from BOXI3 to webBO - BOXI4. In 2015, they joined Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Hyperion Developer, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the Oracle data warehouse and Hyperion applications. In 2017, they moved to Bank Leumi as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. In 2019, they joined Nanit as the Data and Analytics Lead, where they designed and built a fully functioning BI solution with the company from scratch as the first Data person in the company. In 2020, they joined Chegg Inc. as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they developed ETL data pipelines with Python and Databricks. Yaniv is currently employed at aiOla as a Senior Data Engineer.

Yaniv Vainer obtained their BA in Economics and Logistics from Bar-Ilan University between 2005 and 2009. Yaniv then went on to obtain a BI in Business Intelligence from Ness College in 2010. In 2020, they earned their Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Yaniv is also currently in the process of obtaining their dbt Fundamentals certification from dbt Labs, which they are expected to receive in January 2023.
