AION Auto UK is a joint venture between GAC, one of China’s longest-established automakers, and Jameel Motors, a highly successful distribution partner chosen across the globe by top automotive brands. This powerful alliance, combined with a well-connected and respected British leadership team, is focused on long-term sustainable growth for the AION brand in the UK.

AION cars are developed through a network of design studios in Milan, LA and Shanghai. They combine European styling cues, such as smooth, flowing body lines and minimal visual clutter, with playful and distinctive lighting signatures.

The cars will launch in the UK in the first half of 2026 and have been tailored to the needs of British drivers, with spacious interiors, premium materials and strong safety credentials.

AION is currently building a high-performance retail network, designed to deliver the best buying and ownership experience for customers, by combining deep industry roots with a bold electric future.
