Nicholas Grundish

Nicholas Grundish possesses a strong background in materials science and engineering, with significant experience in battery technology and industrial design. Key roles include serving as Vice President of Battery Technology at EnergyX since June 2021 and previously as Director of Battery Design from January 2020 to May 2021. Prior to this, Nicholas worked at the UT Austin Office of Technology Commercialization as a Business Development and Technology Analyst, and gained valuable experience as a visiting researcher at ICMCB, CNRS, Universite de Bordeaux. Nicholas has also contributed to various initiatives at The University of Texas at Austin, including roles as an undergraduate and graduate research assistant, as well as a lab assistant in the Texas Inventionworks. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both earned from The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Nicholas serves as a Strategic Advisor for Aionics, Inc.
