Doug Chu

Doug Chu, SCLA, CIFI, has a distinguished background in criminal justice, having served as a Detective-2nd Grade with the New York City Police Department from 1983 to 2003. Following this, they held roles at Kemper Insurance as a Senior Special Investigator from 2003 to 2015 and then transitioned to AIPSO, where they advanced through positions including SIU Manager and Senior SIU Investigator before becoming the SIU Director from 2021 to 2023. Doug earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Farmingdale State University of New York and later attained a Bachelor's degree in the same field from SUNY Oswego.
