Karen Ronayne

Karen Ronayne has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Karen began their career at Colonial Penn Life Insurance in 1987, where they served in various roles including AIP Underwriter, Account Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, and Analyst. From 1992 to 1997, they worked as an AIP Underwriting Supervisor at Colonial Penn Life Insurance. Karen then joined GE Capital in 1997 as a P/C Underwriting Supervisor, where they worked until 2003. At GE Capital, they oversaw underwriting processes and procedures. From 2003 to 2009, Karen was employed at AIG, where they initially served as a P/C Underwriting Supervisor and later as a Manager in the Automobile Insurance Plan Department. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring processes, implementing compliance changes, and representing the department to external entities. During their tenure, they played an instrumental role in the successful conversion of 90,000 policies from a Third-Party Administrator to AIG. In 2022, Karen started working at AIPSO as the Manager of Special Insurance Operations.
