The Air Force Historical Foundation’s primary mission is the preservation of both the history and traditions of American aviation and space operations with an inherent emphasis on the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Space Force, their predecessor organizations, and the individuals whose lives and dreams have been devoted to these efforts. 

Through accurate and historical engagement, The Foundation continues to serve as the recognized guardian of the history and legacy of both services by educating various audiences about the indispensable contribution of air and space power and the overall importance to our nation’s defense.
