John Tornow

John Tornow has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. John is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Air Mail, a digital weekly magazine. In this role, they are responsible for improving the site, growing subscriptions, enhancing internal workflow, and supporting the editorial team.

Prior to joining Air Mail, John owned their own technology consulting firm called Tornow & Co LLC. As the owner, they provided consulting services to startups, agencies, and large companies, helping them establish good technology practices and grow their businesses.

Additionally, John was the Co-Founder and CTO of ZIG Media Inc from 2016 to 2019.

Before that, they were the President & COO of Oven Bits, where they focused on growth strategy, business operations, client success, and financial operations. John also served as the Managing Partner, overseeing client projects and technical direction.

Earlier in their career, John worked at The Richards Group / Click Here as the Director of Technology, leading digital development initiatives for major clients. John also held the role of Senior Software Engineer at the same company.

John's experience also includes working as an Application Development Lead at Electronic Data Systems, where they played a key role in consolidating web properties for the Navy and Marine Corp.

John began their career as a Software Engineer at Williams Scotsman. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and a strong focus on client success and business growth.

John Tornow attended York College of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. The field of study for their degree was not specified.
