B.J. Tyner is a dedicated safety professional with over 16 years of experience in aviation and healthcare transport, currently serving as Regional Safety Director for Air Methods’ North Central Region since January 2022. Tyner's expertise lies in operational safety, human factors, and organizational culture, focusing on empowering and engaging frontline teams. Previous roles include Area Manager at LifeTeam, where multiple positions were held, including Director of Operations & Safety, and General Operations Manager. Additionally, Tyner worked as Deputy Sheriff, Investigator, and Undersheriff at Harvey County Sheriff's Office, and held positions as Brakeman/Conductor at Union Pacific Railroad and Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot in the United States Army.
