Benjamin Schaefer

Benjamin Schaefer is an experienced EMS Helicopter Pilot currently working at Air Methods since January 2020. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as a Rotorcraft Check Flight Instructor and Rotorcraft Certified Flight Instructor at Southern Utah University from December 2016 to January 2020. Benjamin's career began in the US Army, where Benjamin worked as an 18D - Special Forces Medical Sergeant from December 2007 to December 2013. For education, Benjamin holds an Associate of Science degree in Aviation - Fixed Wing obtained from Southern Utah University between 2017 and 2019, and a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Aviation, Computer Science, and Photography, completed at the same institution from 2014 to 2016.
