Jamie Cutler

Jamie Cutler has over twenty years of experience in the Information Technology field. Jamie began their career as a systems analyst and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming Vice President and Chief Information Officer at QEP Resources. At QEP, Jamie was responsible for digital technology, cyber-security, business process, corporate facilities, mail and fleet functions. Jamie was instrumental in driving operational and technological efficiency through the development and implementation of robust strategies and initiatives.

In 2011, Jamie was hired to turnaround the under-performing IT and Business Process departments at QEP. Jamie delivered transformational leadership, building a unified, strategic and business oriented team. Jamie re-engineered the department, replacing 80% of applications, outsourced non-key systems and functions and led a migration to Amazon cloud, Microsoft cloud storage, Office 365 and Windows 10. Jamie also created a Project management office, security program and business partner teams.

In 2014, Jamie led an aggressive separation and consolidation of technology services from former parent company, Questar. Jamie defined and developed the strategic technology planning and steering process in collaboration with senior corporate management. Jamie optimized the information and technology improvement process through annual strategic planning and the creation of ongoing 1 and 3-year road maps.

In 2015, Jamie directed the planning and implementation of a multi year, $30M replacement of corporate financial, supply chain, land and production reporting systems with SAP. This delivered improvement of 100+ business processes, including the creation of industry’s first Digital SAP AFE system. Jamie also aligned with corporate 5-year plan to realign corporate asset base from Natural Gas to a balanced portfolio of Oil, Natural Gas liquids and Natural Gas.

In 2018, Jamie led from conception through to completion a corporate changing business analytics and big data initiative that employed Data Visualization, Distributed Processing and Data Warehouses to connect key decision-makers with critical information.
