Michael Mitchell has a diverse work experience starting from the United States Air Force in 1999 as an Avionic Test Station Journeyman. Michael later worked with the Air Force Special Operations Command as an AC-130H Instructor Sensor Operator. Michael then transitioned to Lockheed Martin, where they held the role of AC-130H Weapons System Training Lead. After that, they joined CHC Helicopter as a Sr. Operations Manager of Global Operations and later became the Sr. Manager of Fleet Strategy. Currently, Michael is working at Air Methods as the Director of Fleet Strategy and Analytics. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in aviation and operational management.
Michael Mitchell pursued their education chronologically starting with an AAS in Instructor in Technology from the Community College of the Air Force (1999-2008). Michael later earned a B.S. in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (2010-2012) before completing their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from Southern Methodist University (2016-2018). Additionally, they obtained an FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone License in September 2017.
