Zach Powell has a diverse work history in the field of emergency services. Zach started as a Paramedic at Richardson Ambulance Service in 2013 and worked their way up to roles such as Area Supervisor and Director of Communications and Technology. In 2019, they also became an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Southwest Virginia Community College. Currently, they hold the position of Clinical Base Lead and Flight Paramedic at Air Methods since 2021. Their experience showcases a strong background in operational logistics, technology implementation, and instructional roles within the emergency services field.
Zach Powell earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration from Utah Valley University in 2022 and a Paramedic certification from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2017. Zach then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they completed in 2024. In addition, they obtained certifications such as NRP in 2017, FP-C in 2021, and completed a Private Pilot License in 2022. Zach also completed a course in Foundations of Performance Management from LinkedIn in 2024.
