Dean Chen

Dean Chen is an accomplished Engineering Director at Airbnb, currently overseeing host personalization. They previously served as CTO at dv01, where they built and managed a tech organization of over 70 engineers, contributing to a platform aimed at enhancing transparency in lending markets. Dean also held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Airbnb and was a member of the technical staff at eBay, where they co-founded eBay Now and pioneered significant advancements in distributed systems and Scala programming. They began their career managing online operations for the Duke Chronicle and co-founded multiple startups during their tenure at Atomic Labs. Dean is continuing their education at Duke University.
