Edward Chen

Edward Chen is a Senior System Architect at Airbnb, focusing on AI-driven personalization across search, trust, and real-time intelligence. Currently, they design service graphs that incorporate long-term memory and adaptive behavior to facilitate continuous learning. Edward collaborates with machine learning and infrastructure teams to enhance Smart Trip Planning, delivering low-latency, high-accuracy recommendations on a global scale. Previously, they contributed to Airbnb's global expansion by redesigning service discovery and API gateways, and played key roles at Adobe, leading initiatives that transitioned the company to Creative Cloud subscription services. Edward is pursuing both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
