Eric Spaulding

Eric Spaulding is a Design Leader at Airbnb, where they lead design for GenAI-powered customer support features and agent platforms. Prior to this role, they served as Director of Design at Capital One, where they spearheaded the design transformation for the flagship investing product. Eric’s experience also includes positions at IDEO, AT&T Foundry, and Highmark Health, where they focused on human-centered design methodologies and enhancing customer experiences across various industries. They hold a BA in Professional Writing and Creative Writing, as well as two Master’s degrees in Interaction Design, all from Carnegie Mellon University.
