Nell Levin is a dedicated community advocate and experienced musician. As a member of the Affordable Housing Task Force at Nashville Organized for Action and Hope (NOAH) since June 2013, Nell contributes to initiatives focused on affordable housing, criminal justice reform, and equity in jobs. With a long-standing career in music, Nell serves as a songwriter and musician at Roseheart Music, which is affiliated with SESAC. Nell has also been an Airbnb host since May 2010, providing lodging in a historic Craftsman home in East Nashville. Previously, Nell founded the Tennessee Alliance for Progress in 2001 and served as Executive Director Emerita until May 2015, overseeing extensive organizational efforts. Additionally, from 1993 to 1997, Nell coordinated Tennesseans for Fair Taxation, leading efforts in tax reform advocacy. Educationally, Nell holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington, specializing in Music and History.
