Rohit Agarwal is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and data systems. Currently leading the Cloud Infrastructure: Identity and Security team at Airbnb since October 2021, Rohit founded the team and successfully expanded it to eight senior and staff engineers. Prior to Airbnb, Rohit contributed to Kubernetes, GKE, and Anthos at Google from May 2017 to October 2021, serving as a technical lead for the cloud platform. Rohit's earlier roles include working on the Data Infrastructure team at Cloudflare and developing a multi-tenant job history service at Qubole. Rohit has also completed research internships at the Information Sciences Institute and Aston University. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, obtained in 2013.
