Ryan Karr is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy management and public safety across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Community Policy Senior Manager for Safety at Airbnb, Ryan previously held significant roles at Google, including Lead for Content & Sensitive Verticals and Policy Consultation Manager for Google Play - Trust & Safety. A former Political Officer at the U.S. Department of State, Ryan demonstrated leadership in articulating and advancing policy during the pandemic. Additionally, Ryan contributed as a Senior Analyst and Manager for the U.S. Government, where innovative analytical frameworks were developed for complex issues. As the Director for Syria at the National Security Council, Ryan advised two presidential administrations, overseeing policy options and interagency collaboration.
