Steve Ickes

Steve Ickes is an experienced leader in technology business operations, currently serving as the Director of Planning and Operations at Airbnb since March 2025. Previously, Ickes held significant roles at Early Warning® as Sr Director of Technology Business Operations, and at Domino Data Lab as Chief of Staff to the CTO. Ickes has a proven track record in supporting engineering and product leadership teams, driving operational efficiency, managing organizational planning, and overseeing substantial budgets, particularly during a tenure at PayPal where management of a $123M annual budget was achieved with notable adherence to forecasts. Ickes holds both an MS and a BS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
