Andre Walter

Andre Walter has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as Chairman of the Management Board for Airbus Aerostructures GmbH and Airbus GmbH since December 2006, alongside roles leading various sites in Hamburg and Bremen. Walter has held multiple key positions at Airbus, including overseeing airframe materials and processes for the A350 and managing transnational research and technology. Prior to Airbus, Walter worked as a Technical Manager at the University of Bremen and the Institute for Materials Science, and also served as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Bremen. Walter holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover, obtained between 1988 and 1994.
